Houston roofers who show up.
And tell the truth.
Troof repairs and replaces roofs in Houston, Katy and the west side. We climb up, show you what we find with photos, and put the price in writing before any work starts.
A new company with 20+ years of roofing experience.
Troof is new, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our owners, managers and crew bring more than 20 years of combined roofing experience, and we're building this company the way we'd want a roofer to treat our own families: a clear price in writing, honest photos and no pressure. Every referral we get, we'll have earned.
Our name is on the truck. That's the point.
When a Troof van pulls up, you know who is on your roof and who to call if anything needs attention. No unmarked trucks, no door-knocking disappearing acts. Just a local crew with its name on the line.

Why Houston roofs wear out faster than you'd expect.
Houston is hard on a roof. Summer heat bakes the shingles, humidity feeds moss and rot, and hail or hurricane season wind can damage a roof in one afternoon. A roof that would last decades somewhere mild often needs attention much sooner here.
That's why a yearly inspection beats a surprise. A missing shingle, a cracked vent boot or lifted flashing is a small fix today and a stained ceiling after the next storm. If you own a home in Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land or anywhere in Greater Houston, one look a year from a roofer you trust is cheap insurance.
Not sure if you need a repair or a new roof? We'll tell you. If a repair is enough, that's what we'll quote. If the roof is done, we'll show you why, with photos, before you decide anything.
After every hailstorm, storm chasers knock on doors, quote from the hood of a truck and disappear. We're based in Katy, we answer our phone, and we plan to be here when you call about your warranty.
Heat & humidity
Shingles dry out, curl and lose granules. Moisture invites algae, moss and rot.
Hail
Dents and bruises you can't see from the ground can shorten a roof's life.
Wind & hurricane season
Lifted shingles and damaged flashing are common after a strong storm.

Drag to see the difference.
An old roof doesn't fail all at once. It leaks a little, stains a ceiling, then gives out in the next storm. Here is what changes when Troof repairs or replaces it.
Fresh shingles, sealed and protected
Moss, worn shingles and trapped moisture
An aging roof
- Hidden leaks that rot the decking and soak the insulation
- Curling, cracked or missing shingles that let wind and rain in
- Higher cooling bills in Houston's heat
- Stains, moss and a tired look that hurt curb appeal
- Worry before every storm
A new roof from Troof
- Sealed against Houston rain, hail and wind with new underlayment, flashing and ventilation
- A manufacturer-registered shingle warranty plus our lifetime labor warranty
- Better attic ventilation, which can help keep cooling costs down
- Fresh curb appeal and a stronger first impression if you ever sell
- Peace of mind: a written estimate and an owner-inspected finish
Not every old roof needs replacing. A well-done repair can buy you years, and our free inspection tells you which one you need, with photos and a written price. If a repair is enough, that's what we quote. If it's time for a roof replacement in Houston, we'll show you why before you decide.

Give every Houston homeowner a roofer they can verify.
Our mission is simple: be the roofing contractor you can check for yourself. We document every recommendation, honor every warranty, and treat an insurance claim as your problem to solve, never as an opportunity to take advantage of you.
Our responsibility to you
We document everything
Photos of every finding and a written scope of work, so you can verify each recommendation before you spend a dollar.
We honor every warranty
The manufacturer warranty is registered correctly, and our lifetime labor warranty is backed by a local company that answers the phone.
We work safely and by the book
Fall protection on every roof, tidy job sites, and permits pulled in our own name wherever the city or county requires them.
We tell the truth about insurance
We explain how your claim works, we never inflate it, and we never waive your deductible. Texas law and plain honesty agree on that.
We measure success by how many customers call us again and how many send us their neighbors.
Hail hit your roof? Here's what happens next.

Straight answers about roofing in Houston.
How much does a roof replacement cost in Houston?
It depends on the size and pitch of the roof, the materials you choose and the condition of the decking underneath. We give you an itemized written estimate after a free inspection, with materials, labor and disposal listed separately.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most home roofs take one to three days once work starts, depending on size, complexity and weather. We'll give you the schedule in your estimate.
Will my insurance pay for a new roof?
That depends on your policy and on what caused the damage. Your insurer decides coverage, not us. What we do is inspect, photograph the damage and give you a written scope you can share with your adjuster.
Do I have to pay my insurance deductible?
Yes. Texas law requires the homeowner to pay the deductible, and it's illegal for a contractor to offer to waive or rebate it. We'll never suggest otherwise.
How do I know if my roof has hail damage?
Often you can't tell from the ground. Look for dents on vents and gutters, bruised or missing granules, or new leaks. A roof inspection is the only reliable way to know, and ours is free.
What warranty do you offer?
We stand behind our installation with a lifetime labor warranty, and we register the manufacturer's material warranty for you. Ask us for the written terms when you request your estimate.
Do you work on commercial roofs?
Yes. Flat roofs, TPO and metal systems for offices, retail and multi-family buildings. Ask about a maintenance plan so small leaks never become big ones.
You're a new company. Why should I trust you?
Fair question. Troof is new, and our team brings more than 20 years of combined roofing experience. We put everything in writing: the estimate, the scope and the warranty terms. Judge us on paper, not on a slogan.
Let's look at your roof.
It takes one call. We'll look, tell you the truth, and leave the decision with you.
